0n 3 November 2014 in Tokyo - Chiba were held the First KWF World Championship with a number of 534 competitors from 28 countries.
President the Kyokushin World Federation shihan Loek Hollander (Holland) made the official opening of the championship.
Among the invited guests were: Vice President shihan Antonio Pinero (Spain), Vice President shihan Hristo Traikov (Bulgaria) , General Secretary shihan Andre Drewniak (Poland), Treasurer shihan Lars Hogquist (Norway), Member shihan Bertrand Kron (France) and Country Representative of Japan shihan Noriyuki Tanaka.
Competition preceded the International referee seminar with the participation of 36 national judges. Main referee was shihan Antonio Pinero.
The technical referee was shihan Fernando Perez (Spain).
The championship was finished by solemn Sayonara.
Organizer of championship was the Japanese Kyokushin Federation led by shihan Noriyuki Tanaka.
