NORWAY KYOKUSHIN KARATE ORGANISATION - RESIGNATION FROM IKO
2010-09-28

OSU!

Dear Sensei Joji.

It has been a very difficult time for many people including you and myself.

I have talked to NKKOs member clubs and the question was. Shall we join IKO
or EKKO?
Out of 20 clubs the answer was 19 yes for EKKO and one club with no answer.
That gives: NKKO goes for membership with EKKO.

The main reasons are as follows: NKKO has a very good relationship with
Shihan Antonio Pinero. He is a fantastic nice person and also an extremely
good instructor. It will hurt us badly to loose him.

Second: Since IKO is not making a democratic organisation in Europe this was
not accepted by our members.

When I am looking back I see that with a very little communication between
the two parts IKO and EKKO would today have been a healthy IKO-Europe.

That is pity. I started to train Kyokushin karate in 1968 and it hurts very
much that we now have a split.

Take care and I hope that we can meet in the future some time.

All the best,

Lars Hoquist

SHIHAN KRON FROM FRANCE - RESIGNATION FROM IKO (MATSUI)
2010-09-16

Osu,

Shihan, Sensei, Sempai, Kohai, dear Kyokushin friends,

After 41 years training Kyokushin, Branch-Chief since 1997 in IKO, I don't support anymore the politic coming from Honbu to lead Europe with a non democratic organisation.

After consulting the French FKOK Board and our 30 schools, we decided  by vote (Unanimity of the Board and 95% of our schools) to leave IKO and to support strongly the new World Organization leaded by Shihan Loek Hollander to build Kyokushin in the way Sosai let us in his heritage for the generation's coming.

SHIHAN LEZKANO FROM SPAIN - RESIGNATION FROM IKO (MATSUI)
2010-09-15

Osu !

Dear Shihan, Sensei and Sempai

On September 14, 2010 I have given up as a Branch Chief of IKO Honbu and I will not collaborate with the new European organization (*IKO-Europe) created by them.

Having made this decision I want my students to co-operate with Shihan Loek Hollander, Shihan Drewniak and especially with Shihan Antonio Pinero in our support to the New World Organization (*Kyokushin World Organization). In the hope that their development will serve as a way to realization of the New Generations of Kyokushin Karate which is the main legacy that I can leave.

Shihan José Luis Lezkano

From: Bulgarian Karate Kyokushin Organization

Honored shihans,

In relation to the latest statement published on EKKO website I would like to express our full support to EKKO and the new World Organization.
I would also like to plead for an immediate initiation of a democratic process of revitalization of karate Kyokushin both in Europe and worldwide. Once again I'm expressing full support for your leadership, which I believe will bring very positive results.

With deepest respect,
Hristo Traykov
