NORWEGIAN SUMMER CAMP STAVANGER 2010

The Norwegian Summer Camp 2010 took place near Stavanger on the south west coast.
All together there were 153 participants. That is about 15 % of Norwegian Kyokushin Karate Organisation members.
The weather was great and participants trained outside all the time. The youngest was 8 years of age and the oldest 66.

As usual Shihan Antonio Pinero was the guest instructor. His teaching is phenomenal. He gave a lot of information the camp participants. This year the World Cup in football was going on and Spain won the final. That kept Shihan Antonio happy!!
He taught the whole karate Syllabus, including bunkai, self defence against knife, special self defence for women.
There was also a training in the cold water organised.

The took place on grading on Sunday. 7 persons passed the black belt test.
Totally 11 instructors enjoyed the camp with our 153 students
Special guest this year was Sensei Trond Sovik. Sensei Trond is the General Secretary of the Norwegian Budo Association.

27TH JAPAN KYOKUSHIN KARATE CHAMPIONSHIPS OSAKA 2010

   On 12-13 June in Osaka 27th All Japan Weight Category Kyokushin Karate Championships 2010 took place. The tournament gathered 263 competitors from Japan, Australia, Canada, Kazachstan, Poland, Russia, Switzerland and USA. There was about 1600 spectators. Opening speech was made by Sensei Kyosuke Machida. Main judge was Shihan Yuzo Goda. Organizer was International Karate Organization Kyokushinkaikan led by Kancho Shokei Matsui.

AUSTRIAN OPEN VIENNA 2010

   The Austrian Open 2010 took place in Vienna on June 6th. Thirteen nations (Croatia, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Poland, Holland, Hungary, Israel, Norway, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia and Austria) with 407 competitors participated.
   The main judge was Shihan Eugeniusz Dadzibug from Poland and technical main judge was Sensei Slawomir Urbanczyk from Germany.
   This tournament was organized by the AKKO-Austrian Kyokushin Karate Organization led by Sensei Marek Kubek.


37TH POLISH WEIGHT CATEGORY KYOKUSHIN KARATE CHAMPIONSHIPS WARSAW 2010

On May 30, The 37th Polish Weight Category Kyokushin Karate Championships took place in Warsaw, Poland. Approximately 130 competitors from 60 dojos took part in the event. Organiser of the tournament was Mazowiecki Karate Kyokushin Club led by sensei Rafał Tomala. Main judge was shihan Andre Drewniak and technical judge was sensei Jacek Czerniec.



24RD EUROPEAN WEIGHT CATEGORY CHAMPIONSHIPS BUCHAREST 2010

On May 22nd The 24rd European Weight Category Championships Bucharest 2010 (Romania) took place. 105 participants from 21 countries took part in the event. Organiser was Romanian Kyokushin Karate Organisation (shihan Dorel Bulearca - Country Representative of Romania).
