SHIHAN LESLAW SAMITOWSKI'S SEMINAR KRAKOW 2015

On 18 February 2015, in the Hall of Martial Arts at Polish YMCA Krakow, Shihan Les?aw Samitowski from Chicago held a three-hour seminar on techniques and kata. The seminar was attended by sixty Branch Chiefs, instructors and fighters from KWF branches. Shihan Samitowski conducted a half-hour full-contact warm-up and during the main part he shared his knowledge about unknown in Poland training elements borrowed from the Chinese Shaolin which are based on energy flow, and then he showed the interpretation of selected elements of bunkai kata. The final part of the seminar was devoted to dynamic fighting combinations. Shihan Samitowski was applauded by the participants at the end of his presentation. In the view of this seminar, Shihan considers coming back to take part in the Seminar on April 11 and the Summer Camp in Krakow. During the seminar, Shihan Samitowski answered many questions about the methodology, map energy flows, the interpretation of difficult concepts, self-defense etc. The seminar was highly appreciated by all senseis.

KWF SEMINAR IN TAMBOV, RUSSIA 2015

On 19-23 February 2015 the KWF Seminar was held in Tambov, Russia in which participated about 150 instructors, fighters and young karatekas.
The seminar was led by shihan Andre Drewniak and the main theme of the seminar was the unification of techniques and kata.
In addition, two meetings were held and they were devoted to cooperation in the European and World Federations.
One of training elements for branch chiefs including in the event, was hardening of the body in the snow.
At the end of the seminar shihan Andre Drewniak conducted examinations for Kyu and Dan.
The Sayonara took place in the popular banya (Russian sauna).

The seminar was organized by the Russian Kyokushin Federation led by shihan Sergey Soldatov and it was organized personally by its Tambov leader sensei Sergey Bondarenko

THE NORWEGIAN KYOKUSHIN KARATE ORGANIZATION INSTRUCTOR SEMINAR 2015

The Norwegian Kyokushin Karate Organization (NKKO) has arranged the yearly instructor seminar. Every year in connection with the General Meeting NKKO conduct a technical seminar. As always our guest instructor was Shihan Antonio Pinero. About 50 club leaders and instructors were present. The purpose with the seminar is to unify all the basic techniques and katas. This is very popular and a lot of questions are asked. The atmosphere is friendly and everyone is going back home with a lot of new knowledge and wisdom.  In Oslo at this time it was of course snow. Thereby our Spanish friend Shihan Antonio Pinero had to conduct a training session in the snow!! We look forward to our next big event. The NKKO summer camp the first week of July. Shihan Lars Hogquist was responsible for the camp.

MOSCOW BUDO ACADEMY 2015

On 8 February 2015 at the Kodokan Martial Arts Center in Moscow, located in front of the Kremlin, was held the 16th Budo Academy involving about 80 instructors and fighters of various sports and martial arts. A judo training session was led by Shihan Sergey Kosorotov (8th dan judo), Kyokushin training - Shihan Andre Drewniak (8th Dan Kyokushin), jujitsu training - Shihan Tair Narimanov (8th dan Jujitsu) and Shotokan training - Shihan Igor Sadovnikov (6th dan karate). At the end of the Academy Shihan Andre Drewniak handed in certificates to four Kyokushin participants who passed the 2nd and 3rd dan exam as well as commemorative calendars to all leading instructors. Later Shihan Sergey Kosorotov demonstrated the ability to bend a 15-centimeter-long nails and asked Shihan Andre Drewniak to sign his name and leave a comment in the visitors book. Then Shihan invited all the participants to a Sayonara party where interviews were held by the media.

MOSCOW KWF SEMINAR 2015

On 6-8 February 2015 KWF seminar was held at the Hall of Budoshinkai Club in Moscow. 69 participants from 12 Russia regions, including nearly 30 instructors and fighters (1st to 5th dan), took part in this event. Training sessions and exam were conducted by Shihan Andre Drewniak, the seminar program was prepared by the Chairman of the Russian Kyokushin Federation Shihan Sergiey Soldatov, who at the Seminar was assisted by board members sensei Aleksandr Nesterov (St. Petersburg) and sensei Ruslan Hismatulin (Chelyabinsk). The seminar program was designed to standardize techniques as well as update training and refereeing methodology. During the seminar the local TV held an interview and made a video of training elements. At the meeting the leaders and instructors, with the participation of Russia CR Sergiey Suvorov, discussed how to coordinate the development of KWF and KWU programs in Russia, Europe and worldwide. The second seminar is planned to be held in Moscow, where will be invited leaders from more than 40 regions in which operate KWF clubs. The organizer of the seminar was the Budoshinkai Moscow Club run by the Moscow KWF leader Shihan Mikhail Kokin.
